teXXmo now offers KALEO.10A, one of the most-lightweight but still rugged Tablet PC, run by an Intel Atom processor. teXXmo's KALEO.10A offers a bright 10.4" screen at only 930g weight.

The fan-less slate PC KALEO.10A, using SSD memory instead of hard disk drives, runs without rotating parts and thus is very resistant against bumps and drops. With the optional, daylight-readable LCD, the KALEO can be run outside, while still offering an easy-to-read high-bright display. Additional options are 2D barcode reader, 3MPx auto-focus camera and a magnetic stripe card reader; those three options - in any combination - will be firmly integrated into the KALEO housing.

KALEO's accessory list contains desktop and vehicle cradles, as well as various carrying solutions. teXXmo develops customized solutions adapted to special customer projects.

With KALEO.10A, teXXmo responds to increased performance demands by customers' applications and is ready for upcoming operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows 7. By integrating a complete Intel architecture, the new KALEO is more user friendly and secure.

The basic configuration of KALEO.10A will ship with Microsoft's Windows Tablet PC Edition or Windows CE .NET 5.0; running Windows Embedded Standard 2009 KALEO will also support .NET Framework 3.5 and Windows Server 6.1, as well as Windows Media Player 11 and Internet Explorer 8. As soon as available for the platform, teXXmo will offer the KALEO familiy with Microsoft Windows 7.

Soon, KALEO.8A - the smaller sibling of KALEO.10A - will be available, offering an 8.4" display and similar features.
